Telehealth 2.0, the world’s largest telehealth innovation and networking event was held in Orlando, FL from April 23-25. This event focused on how telehealth is transforming healthcare and creating competitive and cost advantages for those leveraging best practices. Attendees heard from leading healthcare providers, hospitals, physicians, associations, regulators, fast-growing startups, technology companies, and industry thought leaders. Participants learned insights about consumers’ desire for devices and how they can improve their health and how today’s latest technologies are lowering costs and improving reach. Attendees could explore telehealth firsthand in the “experience zone” and visit an ICU, the ER, a doctor’s office and a Senior Living facility. In addition, the first-ever Women in Telehealth panel discussion explored changing industry dynamics. Some of the highlight speakers included Hill Ferguson, CEO of Doctor on Demand, Paula Guy, CEO & President of Salus Telehealth, and Randall Moore, President of Mercy Virtual. This massive conference showcased 259 Exhibitors including Tech4Life Enterprises, PeraHealth, Nokia, HealthX, and Bio-Nexus Ltd. 21 organizations sponsored Telehealth 2.0 including Teladoc, Vitel Net, and JedMed.
