Last week, LTEN, one of only a few conferences that was developed by and for life science trainers, took place from June 5-8 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, Tennessee. This year was LTEN’s 46th Annual Conference and hit home as one of their biggest events yet with over 900 attendees. The event was comprised of over 80 exhibitors, 70 workshops, and featured an abundance of labs, general sessions, and networking opportunities. Three keynote speakers made appearances, including American war hero, U.S. Paralympian, and three-time World Champion Triathlete, Melissa Stockwell. Her keynote resonated with the audience as she spoke on her remarkable story of facing life’s challenges. Seventeen companies sponsored the conference, including Springer Healthcare Training, a clinical training company committed to developing effective communication solutions for healthcare professionals and Bottom-Line Performance, providers in custom training solutions. There was even an App created for the occasion conference sponsored by Guidemark Health. This App had many exciting features, including a customizable agenda with interactive tools highlighting all the sessions, an active feed that provided attendees with up-to-date information during the event, a workshop evaluation tool, an interactive floorplan map, and much more.
With new and exciting advancements being made in our field every day be sure to mark your calendar for next year’s LTEN Annual Conference, it will be a can’t miss event!
